The Marsblade of the Kar, given to Zephan. A huge, monolithic half-lens shaped greatsword with a blade that looks like it's made out a weird kind of semi-transparent oxidized copper. A huge, powerful conduit for magic. One of the first weapons capable of permanently slaying Sashni by directly damaging the soul. Notably used to kill Methannos

As Matoi, who named the sword put it...
alright alright, so for a smith and possibly the original name of the sword, something like 花光 (Hanamitsu [lit. flower+light]) for like... shimmering/shining flower. And then the reforged sword could be like 刹孼花, or Setsugekka, which is a pun on 雪月花 which is a famous poem about the beauty of the four seasons. But in this case its the kanji for Temple(part of Setsuna, or "moment") Getsu (a very... unused kanji for misfortune/evil/sin), and hana again (though its on'yomi this time instead of kun'yomi.)
So what was once a flowering sword of light is now a perversion of its original beauty and is a fleeting sword that reveals the evil(rot) the longer its drawn for.
