Usagi Saito or Bunny is a Shivic stripper, eventually porn star working under Vayn after getting abandoned by an ex in the Free Cities. She's also a secondary girlfriend for Ari.

• I seriously doubt Bunny will appear in anything outside of RP. Maybe if something after tower in the sky took place in Shiv?
  • By the time that happens I will be 84 years old
• Bunny, despite being a former party girl, acts like a big voice of reason for Ari.
• Bunny counts as 'Junketsu' or 'pure blooded japanese', which is a thing in Shiv..
  • This used to be seen as a universally desirable thing, but a growing trend in the working class of Shivic society is to see such fetishization as a gross weird thing the Shivic corporate nobility do.
  • Bunny's whole look is basically this generation's Gyaru/B-Gal thing. An active rebellion and rejection of what the Japanese upper class in Shiv thinks is beautiful and valuable.
  • While Bunny herself is all "Japanese" (whatever counts for that in Shiv 400 years in the future) she's from a mixed race family which also has a strong effect on how she was raised and how she wants to be perceived.
  • While I really don't think I'm ever going to get into weird Shivic Ethno-Fascism stuff in a BE game (at least through the japanese and germanic lens, maybe in a more general "Western" way) because it's simply not my place, I enjoy how all the actual Shivic characters are rejections of the racist upper class.

Family

Bunny has SO many sisters. 6, even, though she only has relationships with 5 of them. While Bunny's older sisters probably remember living in the nicer parts of Shiv, within the city walls, Bunny's experiences are all growing up poor.

• Bunny might not have even met her oldest sister. Her Father probably took her. Some kind of white business guy.
• Bunny and her 3 full sisters are all named after animals. Ahiru (Duck), Risu (Squirrel), Koneko (Kitten), and Usagi (Bunny).
• She's not super close with her father, Kenji Saito, as she was the youngest and him and Mio got divorced a few years after.
  • He tries! He's probably really mad she's out in the free cities and probably tries offering her money, which she declines.
  • I think Mio's first husband sucked and was way controlling, but Kenji was okay, but he has issues and Mio also kinda sucks and is a mess.
• Her two youngest sisters are half black/half japanese.
  • Andrew is "dad". She grew up with him more so than Kenji. Probably feels more like an "Adoptive Dad and real Dad" situation rather than "Step Dad vs Dad"
  • Andrew and Mio aren't even married.
  • Andrew is less well off than Mio's other two husbands and while the two probably fight a lot because Mio is kinda combative, the two kinda are good at stopping each other's bad habits. Not being married probably actually helps.
  • But as such, Bunny's youngest sisters use her mother's maiden name.
• Originally an NPC based off of New Japan's Pieter, but she's morphed into her own thing.
  • A lot of names in her family tree also come from wrestling.
