IWBTM Game Two GAME ON

Game Rules:

1. Day and night periods: Days will be a set 72 hours with nights set at 24 hours.

2. Votes and unvotes: Using the votee's forum name, votes and unvotes will be placed using red font and bolded. Players may elect to go on record as abstaining to vote by placing their vote for Abstain.

Vote: Votee's Forum Name or Abstain

3. Roles and Special Powers: I will use a random number generator to assign roles. Some roles may be listed at the start of the game. Some may not.

4. Lynchings: Lynches will occur if
a) one player has been voted for be 50% of the town
b) 75% of players have voted and one player is ahead by atleast two votes


5. Night actions: Those with special roles need to PM we mith their actions during the night or during the previous day if necessary because of time constraints.

6. Death scenes: Players may post a death scene but should not include clues or anything not previously posted by the dead except for status, where appropriate. Lynching is a status-revealing death and banning is a non-status revealing death.

7. Inactivity: People who do not post for 72 hours will be removed and replaced. If there are no replacements, that player is gone. This counts as a lynch and gives the town their information.

8. Proxies: A proxy may be left if you need to go away for more than 72 hours. You may specify a person to leave it to. If you don't anyone including the mafia may claim it. You may also set a hierarchy (SL can take my proxy, or Kitty if SL doesn't want it. Kitty can only accept the proxy after SL turns it down) I may return your proxy to you at any time if I feel you have been reading along and are capable of casting your own vote

9. Game Over: The game ends when all rogues are eliminated, or the number of townies = the number of rogues.

I reserve the right to remove from the game anyone breaking the spirit of the game.

NO personal attacks. In other words, play nice while killing each other off.

I am not responsible for the google doc. It is the PLAYERS' responsibility to create and maintain this, and to double check that mafia aren't using the google doc to mislead the town.

Have fun, play nice, and remember....this is a game based on the need to deceive and lie. Do not take it to heart if your BFF or whatever fibbed to you.

Roles:
Red shirt: TOWN
The red shirt may protect one person each night from being assassinated. However, the third time they successfully protect someone, they die in that person's place. (Basically, they're a doctor that suicides after the third save)

Terrorist: MAFIA
A mafia that does not know who the other mafia are and they do not know him. He may blow himself up at any time and kill one other player with himself.

Fated pair:
Two players bound by fate. If one dies, so does the other.

Aztac Gold:
Scattered coins that will do something amazing if they are all united by one player. They may be passed to another player at any time with no limit to often they can be passed by PMing me. Just like in Pirates of the Caribbean, they make thumpy sounds from time to time to help you find them.

Junior Spies: TOWN
Two spies in training. They can investigate a person each night and learn their team.

Masons: TOWN
A small group of players that are definitely not mafia.

Bookkeeper:
A mysterious fellow. Now much is known about him.

Role Detector: TOWN
He can divine a player each night and learn if they have a role. He does not learn what role it is. He gets a yes/no answer as to if they have a role or not. He does not learn their team.

This is not game on. Role PMs are going out now. Expect the game on announcement in about 10 minutes

Just the ones listed aaaaaand the new rebalance role because I forgot Stu

Blind Drunk:
This person forgot their role. They will remember it when a certain condition is met.

It was given to one of the players with no role
