...These forums are far from being un-active. Lurkers like me are just quietly waiting sheltering for major, apocalyptic events to occur such as:

  • The normal "Discussion" boards become un-active overtime, due to the mass flood of Crap! and General Games! posts. This will eventually begin the decline of basic forum use here. People will begin only posting in these boards, because of what is only active in popular threads.
  • The starvation and impending death of dsk inside that damn basement, occuring in a mass swarm of account deletion and baww fests among olefags and regulars.
  • And finally, with the account deletions and inactivity of good 'ole regulars, IWBTF becomes self aware of soon decline in the forums all together. IWBTF will lose it's ways. Even newbies will stop posting here, and then...
  • The eventual self-deletion of Kayin. He becomes aware of his creation. And what it truly was in the beginning. A colossal failure. Set to fall. And rise once again in 100 years.
  • But that's not enough to delete all the 10 common boards and 423,401 posts in them. Everything will still be around, just dead. Everything, gone. It's as if the genocide of forums has occurred. An abandoned gravesite.
  • Dsk's cyber ghost will haunt those who dare to necro, double, or even think for one second of making a useless thread. Rad's chance-trains are now that of the train from Spirited Away. And the ghost of Valkama gives you the truth about your terrible game designing "skills" while in hell...
  • If this is all successfully done, the lurking survivors of the apocalypse will have go crazy and have fun, by... FUCKING SHIT UP IN THESE FORUMS...

And if you don't understand by now, this was all satirical... Or was it?
4  General Category / General Discussion! / Re: So, why THAT username? on: August 09, 2013, 03:27:39 pm
I've had this username for years. It's my name, and works well.

Are you kidding? There is greater potential for better necros in the old announcement posts Kayin made in 2007.
6  IWBTG / General! / Re: Why is IWBTG fun? on: July 13, 2013, 11:48:48 am
IWBTG was fun for me personally because I grew up in the 80's, so when I played, it reminded me of all the games I grew up with in my generation. My favorite part was the clown copter bosses because I loved how Kayin was able to put the 16-bit Wart and Willy sprites in the clown copter. xD
7  General Category / General Discussion! / Re: the 3DS friend code thread. on: July 13, 2013, 11:43:52 am
Well to be fair, my brother does actually have a 3DS. It's pretty cool. He has the OOT port, the Mario Kart game, and some other mario game (I can't remember) I should ask him soon if he generated his friend code yet.

>.< Not hating at all, but how many people here actually own a 3DS? I might be surprised.
9  General Category / Serious Discussion! / Re: The Quality of Music Nowadays on: July 13, 2013, 10:26:48 am
No man. I fully understand. I'm gonna go on a limb and say that better taste comes with better maturity. Infact, this might actually be quite true considering that most of my older, more mature friends seem to all crave the same musical type. Experimental, meaningful, and just damn good enough to catch the attention of us.

Now I'm not sure... Huh?

...Ask on SMF support forums if you must.
11  General Category / Serious Discussion! / Re: Questioning on: July 13, 2013, 10:15:25 am
This is a great topic to discuss... How could this possibly get buried? I read your entire post. Well worth the read.

When questioning comes to mind, I always thought about authority over education. While education is mostly textbook-based these days, only REAL, independent thought-based education comes from maturity and a certain lifestyle that involves being on top of everything by yourself. Reading about certain events and finding out what really took place, (and how it took place) not letting the media or authority tell you any different.

A certain example would be the education system of certain fascist nations during the Second World War. In Germany, the school system was all about mind-control. The children were taught to hate the euro-Jewish populations, and grow up to live in Germania, the ideal German nation that Hitler and his good ole pal Albert Speer planned up for years during the war. Japan's education system was no different. When Japan originally invaded Manchuria in 1933, Japanese children were taught to hate the Chinese, and one day grow up to became fearsome Japanese warriors for the military. Many of the Japanese war crimes such as; Unit 731, Nanking Massacre (Rape of Nanjing), Comfort Women Sex-Slaves, and the Bataan Death March aren't even acknowledged by the Japanese government even to this day. The Japanese school system also appears to have no teachings of the war crimes either. The youth has idea of what their own nation committed. THAT is a bad thing.

I myself am an independent man. It's well worth the lifestyle. You feel more free. No subliminal, media control, no conglomerate pressure, no bullshit. Love it.

You wouldn't be able to remove that feature as a moderator or an admin. Trust me... I know. I've worked on an SMF forum.

Exactly... It's unnecessary, and only gives more attention to bots through Google.
